With just over one week to go until The Delivery Conference 2018, our On the dot team are ticking off final arrangements to ensure we’re ready for one of the biggest delivery events around.

It’s always such a fascinating day. Influential figures from across the board discuss the current state of Ecommerce, the evolution of logistics and how advancements in technology and strategic thinking can help support retailers grow their offering.

Once again I’m fortunate enough to be speaking on the day. Find me in Theatre 2 at 12:15 discussing one of the key themes in 2018: how we can keep consumers satisfied through delivery and why convenience, consistency and speed will be the core qualities that shape a positive experience.

Looking elsewhere at the agenda, I’m excited to see so many inspiring speakers lined up for the event. After following Martin Goldstein last year in the RBTE discussion on building a culture of innovation in retail I’m keen to see what he’ll be presenting at TDC. Likewise, with Dino Rocos of John Lewis; seeing the talk on adapting to customer behaviour - which has also been key to positioning delivery over the past year - has made me eager to see him talk in the Ballroom.

I won’t touch on every speaker, but also high on my agenda is the always interesting Chris Haighton of Shop Direct, the forward-thinking Peter Buse of Arvato Bertelsmann and the experienced Quinten Francken-Bosman of Photobox.

Back to the preparation for now, so all that’s left to say is I hope to see you there!
